I use it frequently for the count-down timer. The clock mode timer was a nice addition when it was added, but it is cumbersome to set.

There are a ton of timer apps available, and Ive tried quite a few. This one is my favorite. Its quick and easy to use, plus it has bonus features like time remaining in the icon badge and additional notifications in advance of the time being up, if you choose to use them. It also has been totally reliable and has a comfortable user interface. Highly recommended.

Since updating to iOS 5 the app doesnt work correctly. Leaving the app open it works fine, however closing the app the timer stops at the time you close it. Reopening the app you can see the time you closed it for a moment then it quickly goes to the correct time. If the app is closed then the alarms dont work and the minute countdown on the app icon dont appear. I did delete and reinstall the app but nothing changed. That said, does the cloud interfere with this if I have an iPhone too? In iOS 4 this was a great app and I believe when they update it it will be as good as before! The rating is for what it was, not for what it is to me now. Hopefully that will change soon!!!

This is a great app but it would be even greater if the minutes would countdown all the way from whatever number you start with, like 120 on the badge instead of just 60 min. Then It would be a 5 star..

Nice app. Very useful. I did the in app. purchase fore the clock feature. That was a great add on, and worth the 99 cents. ( Needs 4 inch screen update! )

Easy, effective - works in the background. I use it daily.

Helpful app that cold use two changes: landscape mode and alternatives to the space-age voice that tells you time is up.
